Organic Foods – An Overview

February 4, 2010

Natural and organic food certainly now means very big business, with producer networks extending from Argentina to Calgary to California and beyond, with tens of thousands of retail outlets, and a market value estimated at $11 billion. No other food segment grows sales as quickly as organic food.

Certified organic producers are also subject to the same agricultural, food safety and other government regulations that apply to non-certified producer. Being able to put the word
“organic” on a food product is a valuable marketing advantage in today’s consumer market.

Those who favor importing organic food point out that an organic farm shop will only have seasonal foods, which severely limit the choices consumers have when preparing meals. Imported organic food, they say, retains its superior nutritional quality.

Eating higher quality food on the surface seems easy. No junk food, right. That’s not enough anymore we must have more information because the quality of the food we are eating is at an all time low.

Another one of the many reasons why organic food is better for you is because it usually tastes better. This means that you and other eaters are more likely to eat more organic foods, as well as stick with organic foods or start a fully organic diet.

There are three types of labels found in Organic Foods

Completely Organic which means that the food product is 100% organic?

Organic which means that the food product may be 90% organic

Contains Organic Ingredients which means that the products such as cereals contains organic ingredients and are 70% organic

One study analyzing twelve foods concluded that organic foods hold more nutritional value and micronutrients than non-organic foods. The nutritional pros from organic foods include higher levels of vitamins A, B, C, E, vitamins.

Organic food advocates feel strongly that not only are organic foods better for your health but they’re better for the planet’s health.

Taste is a matter of personal choice. People are divided as to whether organic and non-organic foods taste the same or are different. Common sense dictates that the freshest foods available will have the best taste. Most fruits and vegetables taste best if they are bought the day they are brought to market. Taste is also affected by the way produce is stored and prepared at home.

As mentioned before, organic foods are healthy to eat. This, in turn, means that you can put to work to improve your health by eating them. Since organic foods are unprocessed, you do not have to worry about artificial additives.

The same growth hormones and antibiotics that are added to many foods that we eat, like chicken, enter the human body. These hormones and antibiotics may be cause early maturation in children, especially young girls. Eating a diet rich in organic foods help to assure that your child will mature as nature intends.

These foods are known to be pesticide-free and naturally fertilized. These fruits are grown with the help of natural fertilizers and safe pest protection.

One of the other benefits to organic food one rarely thinks about is the genetically modified organisms. These are foods which have had their genetic structure modified in some way or other.

Information on Osteoarthritis

February 4, 2010

Osteoarthritis is a type of arthritis that is caused by the breakdown and eventual loss of the cartilage of one or more joints. Cartilage is a protein substance that serves as a “cushion” between the bones of the joints.

While healthy bone cartiledge makes it easy for bones to glide over and pass each other and absorbs the shock of physical movement, once the cartiledge finds itself under siege by osteoarthritis however, the surface layer of the bone cartiledge deteriorates and begins to wear down.

Osteoarthritis is known by many as “wear and tear” Arthritis. It is one of the most common forms of Arthritis and is the result of cartilage wearing away from the joints.

According to the osteoarthritis statistics compiled by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 46 million Americans report being told that they have degenerative osteoarthritis or other conditions affecting the health of the joints.

Osteoarthritis is, by far, the most common arthritis disease of the human and more than 100,000 persons in the United States are so crippled by this disease that they are unable to go to toilet from the bed.

There is no cure for osteoarthritis but osteoarthritis treatments can relieve pain and help you remain active. Taking steps to actively manage your osteoarthritis may help you gain control over your osteoarthritis pain.

Among the most common symptoms of osteoarthritis, is joint pain after repetitive use. It occurs due to the grinding of joints as a result of destruction in the cartilage that plays the role of a shock absorber. The pain generally worsens with the passage of the day.

Bunions are symptoms of osteoarthritis in the joint at the base of the big toe. If the joints of the fingers are affected, they may become enlarged and spurs may form.

Warning signs of Osteoarthritis include crackling joints, stiffness after getting up from a chair or from bed in the morning, pain, swelling, and tenderness. In Osteoarthritis there isn’t redness or heat from the joint.

The cause of osteoarthritis pain is a gradual wearing away or thinning of the cartilage cushions that prevent the bones of a joint from rubbing together and acts as a kind of shock absorber. Injury or over use can cause damage to the cartilage and may lead to osteoarthritis.

Eating a healthy osteoarthritis diet that will reduce inflammation, you may also want to take a natural supplement that will give you the vitamins and minerals that you may be lacking.By taking a natural supplement for osteoarthritis, we can replenish our bodies with the nutrients needed to combat this potentially debilitating condition.

Omega-3 fatty acids are excellent natural anti-inflammatory. They play a vital role in our overall health including brain and cardiovascular health, skin health, and digestive system and much more.

Treatment plans may include:

Exercise
Healthy diet
Rest and joint care
Non-medicinal pain relief techniques
Medicines
Complementary and alternative therapies
Surgery

Currently osteoarthritis treatment is limited because no medications are capable of preventing or retarding the disease process.

Osteoarthritis is a serious condition which affects the joints. Signs and symptoms must not be taken easily. It is always wise to have a check up with your doctor. Most importantly, osteoarthritis cannot personally be treated.

If you are suffering from osteoarthritis, you should consult with your doctor. You can also use supplements like Phosoplex to relieve the pain and put you back in motion.

Note on Lung Cancer

January 23, 2010

Lung cancer, or carcinoma of the lung, is one of the most common forms of cancer today. It is one of the most frequent causes of cancer-related mortality in the United States today.Cancerous cells can break down and can spread in other parts of the body by forming secondary tumor sites, which makes it more fatal. When the tumor is already on its advanced stage, managing it is somewhat harder.

Health experts say more needs to be done to educate women about the risk of lung cancer. Bearing in mind that breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women. The growth of the cancer and invasion of lung tissues and surroundings may interfere with breathing, leading to symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, chest pain, and coughing up blood (hemoptysis).

There are different types of lung cancer, depending on which cells are affected. The two main types are:

Small cell carcinom : Around 15 per cent are small cell carcinomas. This type of cancer spreads early and shows few early symptoms.

Non-small cell carcinoma : These cancers affect the cells that line the main bronchi.

Despite the high rates of cancer deaths, lung cancer receives much less attention compared to other cancers, especially breast cancer.Cancer of the lungs is one of the deadliest forms of cancer. While it may take a period of years to develop, the cancer often goes undetected until late in the process.

Most people would know the primary cause of lung cancer (after all there is so much propaganda about what increases the risk of lung cancer the most). Yes, smoking tobacco is the main culprit behind lung cancer (or behind increasing the risk of lung cancer).

The symptoms and signs of Lung Cancer are difficulty breathing, coughing up blood, chest pain, loss of appetite, weight loss and general fatigue, but there are some signs of Lung Cancers that do not have any noticeable symptoms.

Late stage signs are: with epidermoid and small cell carcinoma; smokers cough, hoarseness, wheezing, dyspnea, hemoptysis and chest pain. With adenocarcinoma and large cell carcinoma; fever, weakness, weight loss.

The risk factors for lung cancer:

Gender
A family history of lung cancer
Scarring from previous lung disease
Second-hand smoke
Exposure to radon
Air pollution
Past Cancer Treatment
Estrogen Replacement Therapy

There are some simple things you can do to decrease your risks:

Eat your broccoli and arugula
Get your zinc, selenium, and vitamin C each day
Avoid exposure to smoke or fumes in the air

Treatment may include chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Lung cancer that originates in the cells of the lungs is called primary lung cancer; however, cancer may also spread to the lung from other parts of the body.

In the case of targeted drug therapy, these are newer cancer treatments that work by targeting specific abnormalities in cancer cells. Targeted therapy options for treating lung cancer include Bevacizumab (Avastin), which stops a tumor from creating a new blood supply.

Treatment of lung cancer depends on the cell type and on the stage of cancer at the time of diagnosis. Treatment typically includes surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Survival rates depend on the type and stage of lung cancer at the time of diagnosis.

Lupus – An Overview

January 23, 2010

Lupus is a rare condition, but it can be a very difficult one. When you suffer from lupus, more than one of your organs may be affected. There are three lupus types that one can suffer from: systemic, discoid and lupus induced by drugs. The term “Lupus” comprises a variety of distinctive types that can be classified as follows: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, (SLE), the most common type of lupus, has a pronounced polyvalent character. The systemic form of lupus can affect multiple parts of the body and cause a wide variety of unspecific symptoms, ranging from mild to severe.

The name “lupus” is a general term that describes several types of lupus. They are neo-natal lupus, drug-induced lupus, discoid lupus and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).

Common Symptoms of Lupus

Painful or swollen joints and muscle pain
Unexplained fever
Red rashes, most commonly on the face.
Chest pain upon deep breathing (pleurisy)
Unusual loss of hair
Pale or purple fingers or toes from cold or stress (Raynaud’s phenomenon)
Sensitivity to the sun

Lupus often causes kidney affections such as nephritis (inflammation of the kidneys), interfering in the process of excretion and determining the accumulation of toxins inside the body.

Modern medicine, at the present time, has not been able to determine the real causes of systemic lupus erythematosus. It is believed, however, that there are many closely related factors that are used to determine the occurrence of the disease: genetic abnormalities, environmental factors and hormonal factors.

Four main types of lupus:

Discoid type lupus
Systemic lupus
Drug-induced lupus
Neonatal lupus

Lupus patients are also well advised to be careful when consuming nightshade vegetables such as tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants, and pepper in addition to alfalfa as these have been linked to trigger flares.

An all-round healthy diet that includes all the necessary vitamins and minerals is the most effective way to prevent and treat lupus. The treatment of lupus must ensure that the patient has a good nutritious diet and exercise is a must.

While both men and women can suffer from lupus, the condition is most commonly found in women. In fact, women between puberty and menopause are most at risk for developing the disease. While there are many men who suffer from lupus, this condition is more commonly found in women, especially women between puberty and menopause.

The symptoms of lupus are diverse and sometimes they can become very intense. People with lupus experience different kinds of symptoms at different stages of the disease. Hence, the medical treatment for lupus is individualized, every patient receiving medications according to the experienced symptoms.

Natural treatment of lupus would be targeted at the autoimmune component of the disease. Homoeopathy can help tremendously in the treatment of autoimmune conditions; especially because it targets the individual symptoms each patient experiences.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are often prescribed in lupus treatments for reducing muscle pain and swelling or inflammation and rigidity of the joints.

Hydrotherapy: Contrast baths can alleviate severe generalized pain. Sit in a bath that is as hot as you can stand for 5 to 10 minutes, then take a cold shower for 2 to 5 minutes.

Meditation and Self hypnosis: These and other relaxation techniques are helpful in controlling stress, which can aggravate lupus.

Insect Bites – An Overview

January 21, 2010

When an insect bites, it injects venom or other substances and bacteria into your child’s skin. Bites from bees, yellow jackets, wasps, hornets, fire ants and some spiders are usually the most problematic.

Moving on – horseflies, black flies, mosquitoes, fleas, bedbugs, and sand flies, to name a handful, are common insects that lead to those annoying bites.None of the insects listed are poisonous. A substance in the spit from their mouth is irritating to your skin.

When you get a bite from an insect it is important to known and understand what exactly an insect bite is, how it is caused, and most importantly… how you can treat it so that it does not get too inflamed or infected.

The signs and symptoms of insect bites and stings are as follows:

The stings of bees and the bites of mosquitoes, ticks, fleas and bedbugs usually cause only local irritation and pain in the region strung or bitten.

Moderate swelling and redness may occur; and some itching, burning, and pain may be present.

The most common effect when the skin gets irritated from an insect bite is itching. This can be treated with any Benadryl lotion. It helps lessen the swelling and eventually reduces irritation.

The most severe reactions to the insect’s bites venom or toxin are called anaphylaxis reactions. These reactions are similar to the allergic ones, and appear only on the most sensitive humans.

Take a cotton ball and put some apple cider vinegar on it. Then sprinkle a bit of baking soda on top. This is combining a high ph and low ph together. Place the cotton ball directly on the bite for a few minutes. The combination of acid and alkaline in this way is an old remedy passed on across generations.

However, if you’re not equipped with a good homeopathic home prescribing kit, which will always include Apis, then the next best thing is to put some vinegar on the site. This will greatly relieve the pain. It may take longer, but is still effective.

A good balm with tea tree oil, or some tea tree oil on the affected area is sure to help. One company that uses tea tree oil in it’s products has an incredible sun-block lotion that some people report helps keep the mosquitoes away. Others have found Avon’s skin-so-soft to be effective.

Patchouli can be applied neat (undiluted) on the body, directly inhaled or diffused, or taken as a dietary supplement. It mixes well with Ylang ylang, lemon, neroli, rose, bergamot, frankincense, clove, geranium, grapefruit, jasmine etc. for insect bites.

For itching try a mixture of Chamomile German, Lavender and Melissa combined together in carrier oil or alternatively make a cold compress soaked in these essential oils and apply it to the swelling.

Calendula – Calendula is an anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial herb that helps wounds heal. It can be found in many commercial preparations at your local health store. Apply directly to the sting as needed.

Infection through insect bites needs to be evaluated and treated promptly by health care provider.

Ingrown Toenails – Symptoms & Treatment

January 21, 2010

An ingrown toenail is a painful condition of the toe. The area is usually red and may be warm; if not treated, it is prone to infection. With bacterial invasion, the nail margin becomes red and swollen often demonstrating drainage or pus.Ingrown toenails happen when the sharp edge of your toenail begins to grow into the skin. It almost always occurs on the big toe, although any toe can be affected.

While many things can cause ingrown toenails, the major causes are shoes that don’t fit well and improperly trimmed nails. This condition is usually very painful and can be associated with infection of the toe.

An impacted toenail can first be seen directly after improper grooming of toenails. The nail looks like it has been cut back too far and there is exposure of the pink tissue around the edge.

If you don’t cut your nails correctly, you’ll get ingrown toenails.” We try to blame nail cutting for causing ingrown toenails. The poor pedicurists who get thrown under the bus! It can be true, however, that cutting nails improperly can exacerbate ingrown nails.

Other causes of an ingrown toenail include wearing shoes that put pressure on the tips of your toes and cutting your toenails at a downward angle. Wearing shoes that fit properly and trimming your nails straight across may help prevent ingrown toenails from forming in the future.

Another factor that helps in the development of an ingrown toenail is the wearing of very tight fitting shoes. When the footwear is too constricted and the toes are constantly pressed against each other, the toenails will be forced to grow into the flesh.

Another cause of is related to the improper trimming off your toenails.

The signs and symptoms of an ingrown toenail include:

Pain and tenderness in your toe along one or both sides of the nail.
Redness around your toenail.
Swelling of your toe around the nail.
Infection of the tissue around your toenail.

Self-care for ingrown toenails that often feels the best is to soak your foot in warm water at least four times a day. There is no need to add any antibacterial agents or even any soap to the soaking water. Soak your foot for approximately 20 minutes.

Soak your toe for 15 minutes in Epsom salt and warm water, then cut the nail straight across (do not dig in the corner) and gently massage the skin away from the nail. Remember that the old wives tale of cutting a notch in the toenail rarely works.

There are specially designed ingrown toenail files that make it easy to trim and shape the toenail. These are thin files that can be used to cover the edges and the painful areas of the ingrown toenail.

First soak your feet in warm water with half a cup of Epsom salt and half cup of witch hazel (you could even add a few drops of peppermint oil or lavender), for 30 minutes. Not only is it relaxing, it will help soften your skin for the next step.

Know about Heart Diseases

January 20, 2010

One of the most widely recognized causes of premature death worldwide today is heart disease. Although this may sound very depressing, the reality is that the incidence of premature deaths caused by heart disease has significantly declined in recent years. Although progress has been made in the treatment of heart disease, additional effort needs to be made to prevent this illness as much as possible. Heart disease often takes a toll on the sufferer’s and his family’s lives.

There are many causes of heart diseases. Most of heart diseases are caused by high blood pressure contributes to hardening of the arteries. High levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) build up in the arteries as a result of uncontrolled diet with high levels of saturated fat and trans fat. All these add to the formation of atherosclerosis lesions and eventually arterial blockage or anything that serves to damage the inner lining of blood vessels and impedes the transportation of oxygen and nutrition to the heart can be defined as a risk of heart disease.

Coronary heart disease is another confusing type of heart disease. Coronary heart disease is not the same thing as coronary artery disease. While coronary artery disease refers to the coronary arteries, coronary heart disease refers to the diseases of the coronary arteries and resulting complications.

Coronary artery disease is the most common form of heart disease, it is caused by a narrowing or clogging of the coronary arteries that supply the heart with oxygen and nutrients. Coronary artery disease and the resulting reduced blood flow to the heart muscle can lead to other heart problems, such as chest pain (angina) and heart attacks (myocardial infarction). The risk of coronary heart disease can be reduced by taking steps to prevent and control those adverse factors that put people at greater risk for heart disease and heart attacks.

The most common symptoms of heart disease, other than angina, include shortness of breath, palpitations, irregular or quickened heartbeat, weakness, dizziness, nausea and sweating.

Of 100 people between the ages of 27 and 74, approximately 2 have congestive heart disease. That means about 6 million people in the U.S. are affected by the disease. After age 74, congestive heart disease becomes more common. It is said to be the leading cause of hospitalization among senior citizens.

The diseases and conditions that affect the heart are in a group known as heart disease. The heart consists of a muscle that pumps blood. Arteries supply blood to the heart muscle, and the valves make sure that the blood within the heart is pumped in the right direction. Problems can occur in any of these areas.

Mitral valve prolapse is a form of heart disease which can cause vertigo, ringing in the ears, and momentary blackouts. Mitral valve prolapse allows blood to reverse curse and “back up” into the arteries carrying blood to the heart. The decrease in the volume of blood within the heart means that the heart cannot pump sufficient blood to the brain. The momentary decrease in oxygen to the brain can cause people with mitral valve prolapse heart disease to become dizzy when the stand up, or have ringing in the ears and brief blackouts.

Hair Loss – An Overview

January 19, 2010

Human aging is the biological process that is unavoidable but controllable with healthy diet with complex carbohydrates, green foods, garlic, onion, water and juices that will help to decrease the aging process in some degree. It also helps to reduce the amount of DHT produced in our body, result in postponing hair loss to our scalp.

Women experiencing hair loss lose ground fast in today’s world. At work and in her personal life a woman’s appearance has much to do with her financial and social success. Men may also prefer not to go bald. But since balding is known to be caused by high levels of testosterone, a bald man may be credited with extra virility. There is no such happy story for balding women.

A natural hair loss remedy provides a non evasive treatment method, without the use of medications and other methods that may result in side effects. These hair loss laser treatment devises are hand held and prescribed for use many times in a month to attain positive benefits of preventing hair loss and infusing hair growth.

Hair loss has been noticed and studied throughout the ages, and some interesting discoveries were ade in ancient times. For one it was noticed that eunuchs: those males without genitals-never went bald. Men who were castrated as a result of accidents in battle also never went bald. This was the first indication that testosterone had something to do with hair loss.

Predisposition can be one factor as to why one person begins losing their hair as they age, while another person does not. Various other disorders, such as obesity, allergies, and diabetes can also be attributed to predisposition. Sometimes hair loss can be the result of side effects caused by certain prescription drugs. Of course, these factors can often be countered.

Pregnancy: Pregnancy is one of the most common causes of hair loss in women. Usually, they start noticing the hair loss after three or four months of delivery. This form of hair loss is also related to hormones, as during pregnancy certain hormones prevent the falling out of hair. However, the normal cycle of hair growth resumes after four to six months of delivery.

This is the most common cause of thinning and affects both men and women. Men generally have hair loss concentrated in a specific pattern from the front through to the crown. Women tend to have thinning throughout their head without being in any specific pattern. This type of hair loss is caused by the androgen DHT, or Dihydrotestosterone. Since everyone has DHT that is produced by their bodies and only some people suffer from hair loss there has to be another factor involved.

Men generally develop bald spots on the forehead area or on the top of the head. In men, the hairs on the top of the head have a genetic sensitivity to the male hormone testosterone while the hairs on the sides and back of the head do not possess this genetic trait and therefore are not affected.

The medical community in general treats women’s hair loss as a minor health issue. Most physicians have little inclination to address the emotional distress you feel. In many cases physicians treat balding as if it were “only” a vanity issue; they may not recognize hair loss as a red flag pointing to serious metabolic conditions, including PCOS.

Research is constantly discovering modern forms of natural hair loss treatments. The list of treatments summarized in this article are only a fraction of the available natural therapies for hair loss. Everyone has some hair loss from day to day. In fact, it is normal to lose up to 100 strands of hair a day.

Exercise and Fitness – Way to Stay Healthy

January 18, 2010

You have most probably seen advertisements for the Bowflex exercise and fitness machine on television, promising that you can get a great workout in a short time with it.Today more people are choosing a lifestyle of regular exercise and fitness. Each year, one of the most highly recognized New Years resolutions is to get in shape. However, many of these people will not reach their goals.

It is important to understand that lifetime fitness is not a matter of a passing fad. Lifetime fitness demands one hundred per cent commitment on your part. Don’t take it as an obsession.

The treadmill is a piece of exercise and fitness equipment commonly found in gyms and health clubs worldwide.Advantage of using a treadmill over other exercise and fitness equipment is that absolutely everyone can use it. Even pregnant women, who have to avoid most forms of exercise in order to avoid injuring their babies.

The first time you walk into a fitness gym it can be very intimidating. So many decisions to make, and the choices are many. There is a full slate of fitness classes to choose from, and there is a well stocked gym with trainers at your disposal.

If you want to exercise at home, get a treadmill or any other exercise equipment where you can do two things at once- like exercising while watching TV.

The exercises of all kinds promise to make you fit and gear you up for meeting the energy requirements for all kinds of work demand. Weight loss is not so much about what exercise you do, its’ about sticking to the exercise you do choose and being sensible about what you put into your mouth.

A good exercise and fitness program can be as simple as walking. Taking a brisk walk around your neighborhood or through the park or along a scenic route will get the heart pumping.

Strength training: Strength training uses the lifting of ‘free weights’ or dumbbells. If you don’t have ‘free weights’ or dumbbells try to find some cans of food that fit nicely in your hands. Or you might be able to find something better.

Golf exercise and fitness are key components in todays game of golf. It is imperative that the golfer is fit and supple prior to a round of golf. How many times do golfers turn up for a round and then head straight out onto the course without performing any sort of exercise or warm up routine.

Sticking to an fitness routine when you suffer from a health problem could pose a serious threat to the condition. See what your doctor advises and together commit to a specific course of action.

One thing that can make it so much more easy and convenient to get your daily exercise is to have some exercise equipment or a machine brought into your home or office. If junk food is easily available in your living or work place you are more likely to partake of it and the same thing goes with exercise and exercise equipment.

An individual’s cardiovascular health is virtually always going to be better off in someone who does not regularly do cardiovascular exercise.

If you incorporate all of these you would be in tip top shape within a few weeks but you will also be able to shed those pounds that you’ve always wanted to get rid of, while sculpting a new you.

Enlarged Prostate – An Overview

January 18, 2010

Commonly known as enlarged prostate, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a condition routinely affecting middle aged and elderly men. More than fifty percent of American men between the ages of sixty and seventy exhibit symptoms of BPH.

Enlarging prostate can cause:

Bladder stones
Kidney infections
Inability to urinate
Incontinence
Damage to the kidneys, bladder and urethra

Symptoms of Enlarged Prostate

Urinary problems are the most common enlarged prostate symptom. Other signs associated with this condition include, he inability to empty the bladder, urine leakage, frequent trips to the restroom (particularly around bedtime), difficulty starting urination.

And when the bladder get really peeved, prostate patients may find themselves with acute urinary retention, a complete shutdown of urination. It is a serious condition which should be followed by an immediate trip to the nearest healthcare facility.

The PSA test measures the amount of this protein in the blood. Heightened PSA levels can occur in BPH, prostatitis and prostate cancer

Diet & Exercise to Deal with Enlarged Prostate: Too much and too little of something makes the body ill. Always bear in mind that taking in moderate portions of a well balanced diet keeps the body in place and safe. Water is also an essential part of any therapy.Exercise regularly because it promotes happiness and health.

It order to have the awareness of enlarged prostate of one’s body, it is advised that men should have an annual check-up and undergo several tests and examinations done by doctors. Proper preparation is better than waiting for further complications brought about by enlarged prostate.

Transurethral surgery: This type of surgery requires no external cuts. The doctor reaches the prostate glands by inserting an instrument through the urethra after giving anesthetics.

Unfortunately, because most men will suffer from an enlarged prostate, particularly in their sixties and seventies, many men don’t worry when the symptoms appear and certainly wouldn’t dream of bothering their doctor with the problem. This is a mistake.

Pumpkin Seeds: Pumpkin seeds are an unexpected remedy for shrinking a prostate; these seeds contain zinc which plays an important role in stopping conversion of prostate hormones.
